scenario for the maggot's insane idea of arming teachers

shooter shows up with AR-15, teacher nervously tries to unlock drawer where weapon is kept, shooter barges in shoots teacher, gets that weapon & is able to kill more students.

of course the teacher could have weapon in a holster, while at blackboard, disturbed student grabs gun from holster, shoots teacher & a few students

realize that someone with a detailed plan like Cruz would make sure to take out the teacher first shot
I don't think this is in the educational realm
even if they want the guns its a bad idea

this idiot has had so far.

First, how many teachers will want, or accept, the idea of being armed? That's not what teachers do.

Second, unless every teacher is armed, how can you protect a large school?

Third, can you imagine the insurance and legalities involved?

Fourth, how will the students feel about armed teachers?

And then there's the background checks and other stuff involved.

Geez, would they arm nuns in Catholic schools?

I wouldn't be surprised to see a massive walk-out of teachers, nationwide, if this goes any farther.

What's next? Armed waiters and bartenders? Armed movie theater ushers?

Hmmmmm... armed legislative assistants?????

Of course, come to think of it, this plays right into the NRA's idea of more people having guns, which means buying more guns, which means the gun manufacturers will make more money. Ok, from that disgustingly sick standpoint, it make sense.

To be shy, defiant me confronted by the Assistant Principal of my high school (who liked to tap kids on the chest with his walker-talkie when making his point), if instead he had used a gun.

There are definitely people in education who should be doing something else.

He still has his clips, his legally purchased fully armed AR-15 and the element of surprise. tRump's armed teachers are out of place and Cruz kills 17 as before.

Next brilliant idea? Perhaps we need another WH listening session. Sorry kids. We'll keep trying until we get this right.

I remember one of the Pulse survivors saying that he had a gun but was afraid if he pulled it out, he would be mistaken for the killer.

7. Rubio actually brought that up during the town hall. He said if you arm teachers and Swat comes in
