1. Look in your app store if it's not already loaded in your social media bundles?

I've got a Google phone, and I have to go to the "Play Store" for most of my apps. However, my phone did come with a bunch of Social apps already installed via Sprint (the unholy trinity of Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram...)

3. This may or may not help - I don't have an Imgur account and I don't have their App.

For the App, I would guess you press and hold the image until you get a copy option (like on the mobile website) or perhaps there is a 'Share' button with a copy option. If you copy and paste that here, you hopefully will get an image. If it is small and the filename in the image address ends with '_d', just delete that to get the normal image.

Even though I don't have their app or an account, I can still upload images and get a direct link on their mobile website in Safari on iOS11.

The upload icon (cloud with up arrow in it) doesn't appear when i first go to https://m.imgur.com/ - it has a 'Get App' button in the upper right corner instead. I tap on the menu icon (three bars) in the upper left and tap on the 'Sign in' option. I wait until that page is done loading (I don't sign in - no account) and tap the address bar, delete the 'signin' text from the end of the URL and tap 'Go' on the keyboard. In the new page that loads, the upload icon is now displayed in the upper right corner. (You may be able to skip that URL editing step if you sign in - try it to find out.)

After declining to get the App and uploading an image, there is a 'Link' dropdown menu in the upper left - I select 'Direct Link' and the text appears in the box to the right. I copy that and paste it in a post here to display the image.

Maybe the mobile website will be easier to navigate than the App.

6. You're welcome. Glad you figured it out, but maybe you could outline the steps for others.

Someone else is bound to have the same issue at some point. Many apps aren't as obvious to use as their creators appear to think they are.

I was just guessing on how their app might work so if you accomplished it with that, where did you get the image address to post here?

If you used the mobile version of their website, did you sign in to get the upload icon to appear?

Sweet picture. How much of the internet's bandwidth do you think is used for cat related content? Fifty percent? Sixty?
