tho I'm not in Florida. I've been ASTOUNDED at these kids. They're rock stars. And they're going to change the world. They really are, and not just with the gun issue.

Protests are rising to the level that we might see change.

It is happening on many fronts and is non-stop.

Resistance is NOT going away but the fights won't be won easily. PERSIST! RESIST!

Here is good info to help from all fronts.

The resistance is been alive and kicking since even before Trump took office. It's just seen some major action lately.

At least that's what many histories claim.

In other words, the majority had no patience and only wanted peace and calm in streets.

Also it's claimed that Weimar Republic's attempt at democracy failed b/c majority of Germans found give and take and constant back-and-forth of democracy unpleasantly messy.

We like to keep our chancellors for 16 years, like Merkel and Kohl, unless they f*** up like Putin's buddy Schröder.

Sure, there was the "sexual revolution", but generally we prefer small steps and political / societal stability. Once a step is done, it seems like very few want to go back, and the new status quo is accepted. I'm glad this is true even for issues like abortion, minimum wage, and now it seems like even marriage equality is here to stay, no matter which political parties form the next coalition (unless it's the AfD). I hope we can find our way to legalizing weed some day to settle my wishlist once and for all.

Of course, the AfD wants to turn back time by at least 70 years, so…
