Yes, there is a lot of good in this world.

There's a lot more of us than them. That's why we need to work harder in the next 4-6 years to get good people to vote and help others vote. Harder than ever.

Those assholes who are attacking the survivors of the shooting, need to face the fact that there are strong and decent humans and some of them are still in high school.

but I still sit in stunned disbelief that the FL GOP had the audacity to pass nonsensical legislation about pornography on the same day they voted down even having hearings on gun control IN FRONT OF THE PARKLAND STUDENTS...

The youth of today are already pissed, but once they start paying attention and see exactly how fucked up the world we are leaving to them really is...man are they gonna lose it completely. The last 3 generations (Boomers, X, and Y) have left a steaming pile of turds for the future, with no mitigation planned and no lifeboats left behind.

America was once a beacon, we have become a lighthouse. No longer welcoming or inviting but now a warning and a tale of woe and what to avoid...

I'm hopeful this time as people are calling out the true criminals -- the NRA and the Republicans.

Demand a F rating for any future representative.

Demand the end of the NRA.

Point out every congressman who voted to defund Planned Parenthood because they claimed to care about unborn babies but now won't call out the NRA.

Demand divestiture or a boycott of every advertiser on any NRA radio show or magazine. SHUT THEM DOWN!!!

We need to organize to go after the NRA and every elected official who has taken money from them. They must LOSE THEIR JOB!

It's a new day. These kids are our future.

I retired from teaching 3 years ago and it was constantly in my mind, What would I do if a shooter invaded our school? This is an absurd thought in peacetime America. We are putting millions of Americans through this same absurd exercise so a few people can have their fun at the shooting range? They all say that is all they want. Or else they want to pretend that they will save America from some mythical tyrant with their little peashooters against the armed forces.
Why do any of us buy into this absurdity?

Encourage local city councils to past reasonable gun legislation. (I know that won't work in Florida, where it would be illegal.) Pass reasonable campaign donation laws. Then work to elect state legislators who will work to do the same. Go to town halls, organize parents to talk about sensible and reasonable gun laws to local legislators and state legislators.

And by GOD, work to get the ones that would rather get rich off the NRA than listen to voters fired! Remember, no matter how much money someone running for office gets for their campaign, it still comes down to the VOTERS!!!

Vote the NRA puppets OUT OF OFFICE! If you belong to the NRA, resign and tell them why! There are organizations for sportsmen you can join if you want to. You don't need to belong to an organization that cares only for making money for arms merchants!
