***Local South Florida radio station WFTL 850 am is pushing "crisis actor" theory. CALL THEM OUT***
While the influence of AM radio has pretty much peaked in the digital age, it nonetheless still reaches a lot of people and can still shape the spread of information in good or bad ways.
The disgusting "crisis actor" conspiracy theory--claiming that Stoneman Douglas students speaking out against gun violence aren't real students but rather actors flown in and coached to respond--is terrible and demeaning enough.
However, for it to be propagating from the very place where the shooting took place is absolutely horrific and downright ghoulish.
WFTL is no small bit, low powered radio station. It broadcasts right out of Broward County. It features a mix of local and national talk radio hosts, including local whackjob Joyce Kaufman. But it also features sports and straight news.
I was listening to it the evening of the Stoneman Douglas shooting for information. They were carrying the national ABC feed, and it was informative.
However, I regret ever having tuned in.
Apparently yesterday on the morning station hosted by Jennifer Ross and Bill Adams, they chose to give legitimacy to the "crisis actor" claim against Stoneman Douglas student David Hogg. The clip can be found here:

You'll note that the page includes a tweet from an individual who cites as her source another Twitter page "Ten_GOP_1". That page has since been suspended. Most likely it was a continuation page from the original Ten_GOP page, which was revealed to be propaganda being spread by online Russian Trolls.
It gets worse.
The WFTL morning show also gave a platform to Laura Loomer, who repeated these "crisis actor" claims. Loomer is a notorious alt-right troll affiliated with James O'Keefe's Project Veritas. She's perhaps best known for disrupting a performance of Julius Caesar in Shakespeare in the Park, Frank Drebin style, claiming that it was a secret effort to advocate for the assassination of Donald Trump. It is unacceptable and utterly demeaning to the survivors of the Parkland shooting that a major radio station in its area is pushing Russian fed propaganda that slanders the survivors of this horrific event.
I don't usually call for action but right I'm so livid I really would like DU's help here.

The more lies get repeated like this through supposedly legitimate media sources, the harder it becomes to remove these lies from the collect consciousness of the public. This is the true fake news and we need to nip this in the bud.

There's video of her harassing Rep. Ted Deutch after a recent town hall meeting regarding the Parkland shootings. Deutch absolutely tears into her and it's beautiful.
Problem is I can't find it on anywhere except the Infowars Youtube channel itself (they shamelessly call Deutch, who represents Parkland, "unhinged"
, and I don't want to give those cockroaches extra clicks. Perhaps if someone can just isolate the beginning of the video where Deutch is ripping into Loomer and cut out the end where it's just Loomer blabbering on to herself, they can repost it because it's truly wonderfully righteous anger.

I've covered her antics extensively on the Top 10 and she is a real piece of work. She gets her jollies from "triggering" liberals and she is doing just that with the Florida shooting. Ugh, I hate these assholes.
