Parkland Teen Survivor David Hogg Welcomes the Conspiracy Theories

‘WE GET MORE PUBLICITY THAT WAY’

Parkland Teen Survivor David Hogg Welcomes the Conspiracy Theories

Not only is David Hogg full of pride for his father’s work at the FBI, but he also doesn’t mind the fringe theories about his gun-control support: ‘They’re only helping our cause.’

MICHAEL DALY
02.21.18 5:04 AM ET

Until three and a half years ago, FBI agents of the Los Angeles field office knew just what to do with the stuffed animals their kids outgrew.

They had only to take the teddy bears and other unneeded stuffies to fellow agent Kevin Hogg, who was assigned to Los Angeles International Airport before his retirement to Florida in 2014.

In his time at LAX defending us against terrorists and smugglers and other evils, Hogg’s office was next to international arrivals and he saw a perpetual stream of refugee children arriving from distant lands with little or nothing besides the clothes they wore.

Hogg began welcoming youngsters to America with a happy surprise.

“He’d walk up and give the kid a stuffed animal,” Hogg’s son, David, told the Daily Beast.

gun owners want universal background checks!

I think that means David has to be right. ‘They’re only helping our cause.’

From NRA TV: “The #MSM is like snakes in the grass waiting for another mass shooting."

The point here is that we're ALL now waiting for the next mass shooting, and then the next and the next... Nice to know that at least waiting for the next bad press has the NRA unhappy and on edge.

We cannot allow them to be silenced. The attacks on them that I am reading are making me actual weep with shame.

What is wrong with these people? Did they victim shame the survivors of that massacre in Las Vegas? No, they go after literal CHILDREN! Weak-ass COWARDS!

March On, Democrats! Now, more than ever!

voted down by Republicans who are afraid to offend their donors and their right-wing extremists--who are ardent voters.

Let's forget right-wing voters for now, though. They're pretty much out of it since their politicians don't represent them.

Let's talk about US. How is that that EVERY person sympathetic to liberal values and committed to gun control did not vote Democrat in 2016? We know many didn't, and we know that even some of those spouting virtuous, outraged noise with every massacre here on DU did not vote Democrat.

If they had in 2016, we would have gun control right now and this latest massacre would not have happened. For over a year the Republicans would be sitting helplessly, and their donor class counting their losses, while a Democratic president and congress tended to the nation's business that is literally crying to be done.

I personally like people who do good things, i.e. do-gooders.

In Germany the alt-right scum calls friendly people like Kevin Hogg "Teddybärenwerfer", literally teddy bear throwers. Also "Flüchtlingsklatscher" (refugee applauders / clappers) for anyone who welcomed refugees in person. Schreckliche Gutmenschen!

David Hogg and his parents should be proud. "Crisis actor" conspiracy theorists can go fuck themselves.

They aren't as articulate and informed as these teenagers are. NRA is really NRRRA, National Russian Republican Rifle Activation. More gun deaths for profit is all they care about and these children aren't afraid of them. That's what they can't stand, any reduction in gun deaths. You notice everything they propose just increases the death count.
