PBS News:

The White House says members of the Florida community grieving a school shooting will attend a listening session with the president.

Spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders says people from Parkland will come to the White House Wednesday, as well as people impacted by past school shootings in Columbine, Colorado and Newtown, Connecticut.

The listening session is for students, parents and teachers to speak with the president about school safety and other issues.

Trump will also meet with law enforcement officials Thursday.

The shooting at a high school last Wednesday left 17 dead and more injured. Sanders said the victims and their families remain in the administration’s thoughts and prayers.

What a crowd, what a turnout. I've had tremendous success. I had a flawless campaign. I think I've done a lot. I don’t think I’ve made mistakes. I could shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters. What is this, right prior to his being shot, and nobody even brings it up. A lot of information was given to people until our country's representatives could figure out what the hell was going on. His wife, she was standing there, she had nothing to say. Perhaps she made the story up. I think you'd have riots. We have a dysfunctional immigration system. Nobody builds walls better than me, believe me. Our country is in serious trouble. I'd like to use really foul language. You know how many people have been hurt at our rallies? I think, like, basically none except you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. She had nothing to say. I think there's blame on both sides. Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Blood coming out of her wherever. Sadly, she's no longer a 10. And I hate it. And the beautiful thing is women don't like her. I like people who weren't shot. My I.Q. is one of the highest -- and you all know it! I have a great relationship with the blacks. Look at my African American over here. Please don't feel so stupid or insecure, it's not your fault. I love the Muslims. I love the poorly educated. It’s not anything they can control. She says the solution is to ban guns. I will say that people who are following me are very passionate. When you’re a star, you can do anything. I don't remember! That makes me smart. Lock her up!
