Many of the major law firms in NY have handled Russian business at one time or another. The fact that he is also connected closely to Trump may be nothing more than coincidental. As an attorney and a politician he knows appearances matter and may not want to be even possibly visibly connected to all this...especially if he has reason to believe that there was complicit activity with Trump and the Russians. Giuliani is a weasel but he is not an idiot. Both he and Christie will flip on Trump in a heartbeat if the heat turns towards them. Now of course...If I'm wrong and he is indicted....I wouldn't be sad....
