Here's a media fixation I don't get

They claim DT can't admit to Russian interference in the election because he fears it would de-legitimize his election.
I think this provides him with cover and is a disservice.

I think he is protecting Putin full stop.

A) They are certainly right about that aspect.
The presi-dunce is the most vainglorious, narcissistic douche to ever run for office. That's undeniable. He can't stop talking about how awesome he is. He's a tiny little man with a yuge extremely fragile ego. An asterisk after his name for the remaining history of the US is enough to drive Comrade Comb over fucking batty.
B) Most of the media is not FOX news. They're not going to go on record calling the Archie Bunker Billionaire a tool of Russia until there is definitive proof. They seem to have regained the journalistic standards and integrity they lost during the election. Thank God.

especially when such careful caution in reaching conclusions is reserved for republicans while they destroy democrats' careers over sighs and sweaters and emails and a scream.

there's *plenty* of room to add the word "allegedly" while describing this as the worst, most widespread, damning, and dangerous electoral scandal in american history.

there's *plenty* of room to call for donnie's resignation, asking how can he effectively govern with such questions about the legitimacy of his election *and* potential criminal involvement in the case.

there's *plenty* of room to stop humoring the liar-in-chief and to call him out on the lies time and time again.

there's *plenty* of room to note that franken was pushed out for far less than what donnie is accused of *having nothing to do with mueller's investigation*.

the media is *not* displaying anything close to integrity and their journalistic standards remain abysmally biased.
