The lust for guns would not be tolerated by average people. People that have a lust for guns should be shamed and ridiculed on a national level. Instead, they are tolerated.

I am a pretty peaceful person, but at times in my life I have gotten very angry. And I know I was not thinking clear. What if I had easy access to a gun? I don't think I could really harm another human being or an animal, but I am pretty sure I could shoot a TV or computer!

I am reminded often, even when it does not come up on the iPod shuffle, of Carole King's song "Smack Water Jack": You can't talk to a man with a shot gun in his hand.
