Cnn: Mueller looking at Jared's financials

Washington (CNN)Special counsel Robert Mueller's interest in Jared Kushner has expanded beyond his contacts with Russia and now includes his efforts to secure financing for his company from foreign investors during the presidential transition, according to people familiar with the inquiry.

This is the first indication that Mueller is exploring Kushner's discussions with potential non-Russian foreign investors, including china.

14. So far, nothing seems to indicate Mueller is zeroing in on Trump. I'm concerned.

They were all in on it. But there has to be evidence. It's possible that Trump was protected from direct involvement, so there won't be any proof? I don't know. None of them are really smart, so I continue to hope. For the sake of the country.

I just think that since he never expected to win, he thought he could commit a bunch of illegal acts and never receive scrutiny. As he's been doing for decades with his criminal associates and money laundering career.

he may have been protected. Jeff Sessions, very experienced politician, was with him. I remember his testimony about the mtg where Pappadopolous was, when Pappa. suggested Trump meet with Putin, Sessions immediately put that idea down. He knew that if there were to be any meeting, it would have to be with a surrogate, not Trump himself.

His sons had that meeting with the Russians. Not Trump.

Trump doesn't "do" anything. His family & worker bees do everything, at his behest. Trump talks a lot, but that's about it.

I don't know if he does email. Does he? Remember, Trump is paranoid. He thinks his food might be poisoned.

All of this may mean there's no direct evidence of Trump involvement in "the Russier thing." But if Mueller goes after money laundering, there may be something there. And then there's obstruction of justice, which I think there is evidence of, but I'm not a lawyer.
