White House Official Says Shooting Was a ‘Reprieve’

A White House official told the Washington Post that the mass shooting as a Florida school last week gave a White House struggling with a domestic abuse scandal a break.

Said the official: “For everyone, it was a distraction or a reprieve. A lot of people here felt like it was a reprieve from seven or eight days of just getting pummeled… But as we all know, sadly, when the coverage dies down a little bit, we’ll be back through the chaos.”

Looks like there's more than one person in the white house that has no empathy, only self sympathy.

"Onion" or any other satirical site. So sad this is what passes for critical thinking in this administration.

17 people murdered in cold blood are seen as providing "a reprieve" from the many scandals plaguing the administration.

They are sick and depraved, the whole lot of them.

would stop from existing until the person who said it and the person they work for, Barack or Hillary, were chased to another planet.

Not one second sooner.

I'm observing, not sympathizing. If this was said to me, I'd just say "you took the job, you enabled this mess," and "go cry to someone else, traitor. "

It also seems to say that they are immune to pummeling on mass murder gun issues.
