How Gun Control Should LOOK
Background checks for all guns.
2 week waiting period.
All guns registered at least at state level.
All sales registered like automobiles.
All guns have six shot limit
Weapons needed for home defense or for hunting allowed.
No assault or military weapons except at licensed gun ranges.
Only licensed gun shop can sell weapons
Guns in the home required to be locked away. Ammo separate storage.
Guns must have insurance like automobiles.
Stolen guns must be reported within 72 hours.
No open or concealed carry anywhere in the US. Except for law enforcement.
Class one felony for any criminal using gun in crime.
Model our gun policy like Australias at best. We are finding that more guns is not really working. Look at all the carnage daily.
Remember a lot of shooting are happening at malls, in the theater if we remember Aurora, in homes, on the street if we remember Colorado Spring, Co a while back, in bars and night clubs, etc etc etc. The violence is pervasive and everywhere. Also remember all the law enforcement we have lost recently.
