(670 The Score) Im not the first to call for this, but Im here to support the idea.
My colleague Steve Rosenbloom of 670 The Score and the Chicago Tribune on Monday requested that we learn the names of the four cretins who taunted Capitals forward Devante Smith-Pelly with racist invective Saturday, leading to their ejection from the United Center.
As Smith-Pelly sat in the penalty box, these pieces of human waste nearby shouted Basketball, basketball, basketball at him, in no uncertain reference to the fact that hes black. He confronted them immediately, and they were identified and summarily tossed.
Its not enough, for multiple reasons.

(12,265 posts)Racists, gun humpers, Trump lovers, don't put where they work on their facebook pages? They never identify where they work, who they are married to nothing. They know society thinks they are lower than snails bellies, so they do it and then hide. They need to be banned from any further NHL games just for a start. If we know where they work, we should ask their employer if they support this type of person.

(65,078 posts)Why am i not surprised? Half the fanbase (or more) are meatballs.
And, i'm from Chicago and if it weren't for the continued insistence on fighting and rough play (yeah, i know not as much as it used to be) by a vocal group of troglodyte NHL fans (here and in Canada) i'd still be a Hawks fan, too.
