Watching local noon news here in South Florida

Very sad, all these funerals and memorials today across the county for the MSD students in Parkland. The campus is closed for classes today but there are so many people there along the fence with flowers...

The local news interviewed a rep from the Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Violence (Robert Bowers Disney) who said "Every group of victims handle it differently and I am just so proud of what these kids are doing, I mean they are picking up and leading where our generation has failed, so for the first time in a very long time, I feel like we might actually get somewhere."

I hope with everything in my heart, that he is right - that this time we might actually get somewhere.
