Will The Armed Militias & Gun Nuts Show Up At These Rallies?

The calls for gun control will certainly stir up the "patriotic?" militias who vow to fight to the death against government. Their appearance at "Moms" meetings certainly make you wonder. We are in a very intense period right now. And the pro gun element has never seen such a robust and noisy back lash against their agenda.

We are fighting a GOP and NRA that demands that guns be openly carried anywhere anytime and any place. That would mean if a guy is in your school or grocery store or church or movie theater or zoo or museum or sporting even or bar with an assault rifle openly displayed and you cannot prevent them from being present. They want to go that far. We would look like the Middle East where assault weapons are the usual part of wardrobe.

When a certifiable nut can get a gun unchallenged now what could go wrong. I do not want to go into a store to shop and see people wearing guns.

the cops did not run them off. Their protest was not legitimate and meant to intimidate. The cops should have shown up and guarded the women. They should have at least been present and sent a message. Coming armed and possibly loaded in protest in not a peaceful demonstration. Cops are dying because of the gun glut too.

The intention of my posts is to get people to start speaking up to these elements and challenge them. I realize some of the things I talk about are depressing. My intention is to get people from being so complacent. At least speak up and expose who these people are. They get too much of the public forum and are seldom challenged on their hateful absurd words and actions.

Nothing says "Shoving my rights in your face, you snowflake" more than showing up to a memorial rally over a senseless shooting trying to "normalize" walking around open carry with something that looks like it should be carried by an infantry squad - because "Guns don't kill people, neurotic (not mentally ill, just hair triggered) people with long guns/rifles that can be fitted with large capacity magazines kill lots of people whenever they feel slighted or powerless...
