The GOP will clamp down on protests and voting. They do not want democracy they wan on party dictatorship. The GOP is a dangerous as a bag of vipers. The are rigging the courts, rigging elections, rigging debate, banning protests, unleashing RW et al on anyone who does not support their agenda.
Just try to talk to one of their law makers and you will get arrested unless you are rabid supporter. You cannot get within 100 years of a GOPPER now without being confronted by private security or having the cops called.

(10,156 posts)Honestly this shooting was in my belief the breaking point. tRump is going to get his tin canned kicked in very soon by Mueller, the blue wave is going to become a tsunami. They can try and hack, gerrymander, rig all they want. The future is against them and they know it. People have caught onto the bots on social media, everyone laughs at the RWNJ's on how idiotic they are. They are not winning, they are losing so hard that they can't figure it out or will never figure it out.
Much love dear

(10,156 posts)He's clinging to whatever he can find at this point. Attack whoever to try and turn the tide away from the investigation. The indictments and now Gates about to testify against Manafort. He knows his time is coming. I think he'll end up doing something extremely drastic when the indictment comes down on him. God help us when it does.

(4,429 posts)That night, three people (two parents, one brother) were posting 'have you see this person.' OMG. As a parent, I just cried. They knew (as I did) that their loved one was dead. But they posted anyway, because they had to.
It's so hard to witness all of this and still have idiots in our government do nothing. I told my daughter she should propose that the school go to the rally in Washington (she goes to a small, private school where that might happen).
I'd be happy to do the driving

(9,268 posts)With the court decision about gerrymandering. First they submit a map that is just as slanted (but a bit more subtly) than the present one. Gov. Wolf vetos. Now they're kicking, screaming, holding their breath and flailing on the floor like my toddler grandson. I'd say it's fun to watch but the way things are, they will find a way to win.
