A social studies teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School has requested via

Facebook that letters of support be sent to her students. Her name is Diane Wolk-Rogers.

I ran across this tweet:

?s=20

And, being very leery of any info I find on the ‘net, I looked for confirmation that she actually works there...here is her twitter account:

https://mobile.twitter.com/wolkrogers?lang=en

...and this link is to Broward County Schools, and Ms. Wolk-Rogers is listed there (wayyyyy down the page, but she’s there):

https://www.browardschools1.com/domain/6308

I am not signed up on Facebook, and most of the time if I try to find someone on there, I am presented with 87 choices of person and I go nah.

Anyway, this looks bonafide, so I shall post it in good faith...

but this is a tad more specific...

Of course...I gotta be honest, and I’m ashamed to even write this, but I do nevertheless wonder if, in these days and times, a postcard might be best...there were two stories last week about “white powder” being in both a letter to a trump daughter-in-law and to Obama’s DC office...

....and maybe the school will get ONE white powder card from some psycho, and then ALL the cards would have to be trashed...?

*sigh*!! (I’m such a downer!!)

But anyway, thank you!!
