A gun show taking place this weekend near the site of Wednesday’s horrific massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL is proudly offering AR-15s for sale, in spite of the weapon’s role in the lethal attack, which killed 3 adults and 14 students.

According to the New York Post‘s Laurie Mizrahi, the organizers of a gun show in Hollywood, FL see no reason not to display and sell models of the AR-15, the type of semi-automatic weapon reportedly used by Nicholas Cruz to mow down his former classmates.

“What would not selling [the gun] have done?” said dealer Will McDough to the Post. “If he had a knife would you regulate the knife — or the person standing behind it?”

Student Emma Gonzales pointed out in her riveting speech to an anti-gun violence rally on Saturday that Cruz would not have been able to kill nearly as many of her classmates if he’d been armed with a knife.

Gunners and their political lackeys often cite stats that say "knives and clubs kill more people than rifles"...which is mostly true except if you include handguns and other guns then the kill rate for firearms versus knives is 10x greater.

And of course knives were not invented only to kill...I hate these passion only for a hunk of metal versus compassion for dead children.

8. The weekend after Sandy Hook, this is the line to get into a gun show where I used to live.

They interviewed some gun-fanciers in line and most said they wanted a chance to purchase a rifle like that used at Sandy Hook.

20. 12/23/2012: Firearms Supplier Sells 3.5 Years Worth Of AR-15 Magazines In 3 Days

Gun and ammunition sales.. soar .. following the .. shooting in Newtown .. that left six adults and 20 children dead.

Brownells, the world's largest supplier of firearm accessories and supplies, released a statement ..apologizing for the delay in fulfilling orders of assault weapon magazines, explaining that the company had experienced "unprecedented" demand for AR-15 .. magazines in the last three days.

... president Pete Brownell wrote .. that the company .. sold about 3.5 years worth of magazines in 72 hours .. "working like crazy to get these orders to <customers> as quickly as possible" ...
