Its in there now for all to see. Its not alledged that Russia was directing US voters away from Hillary toward Stein by using propaganda, its now an indisputable fact.

Upon further review... all of Jill Steins votes are awarded to Hillary Clinton.
Trump assessed 5 million votes and the election is replayed... "loss of down and yardage!"

(29,228 posts)Elections have virtually no remedies.
The one remedy that the Presidential election has (the electoral college) failed as it has lost track of its mission.

(9,213 posts)This shows they are the victims also so it looks like Mueller is trying to turn the Repubes against Trump. Will be interesting to start hearing from them and how they feel about this, but I doubt they'll keep sticking up for Trump now that's it's been proven the Russians were working against them too.

(19,568 posts)Have every right to be outraged, as do both of them! Maybe theyll even get on board with protecting us from further Russian meddling after this.
Im not sure Mueller is doing anything here other than following the trail where it took him and issuing these indictments. The rest is just ugly facts that we needed to hear.

(19,568 posts)We all witnessed what took place up close and in person and were bound to talk about this now that its out there. Yes, Russia worked to support Bernie in an attempt to prevent Hillary from winning.
Ok, its out there. Weve suspected as much from things we saw being spread across the internet so lets not act surprised.

(19,568 posts)Im just hoping we can be adults about this and accept the facts as they now stand.
People were played here in the US by Russian operatives. It influenced our election and had a decided impact on our conversations. I dont want to see us go down that rabbit hole again.

(16,883 posts)I, and many of us as well, witnessed this crap first hand. Shit, I nearly got caught up in it myself with the onslaught of constant online propaganda. Had it not been for my wife metaphorically knocking me over the head, I could have been one of those people...and I consider myself reasonably intelligent and a lifelong Democrat! We must be diligent and we must question every single meme and attack on Dems, whether from the right or sadly even from the left. We cannot allow 2016 to happen again.

(16,883 posts)Im frankly embarrassed about some of the posts I made here during the 2016 primary....Im embarrassed that I allowed myself to get swept up in the sea of disinformation purely because I thought and hoped and wanted a leftist candidate/President. I ultimately worked, alongside my wife, to canvass for Hillary...but I could have done it sooner, I could have fought against the propaganda, and I could have been a stronger voice and that is the truly embarrassing and sad part.
