...those afflicted with mental illness to be labeled and stigmatized with mass killings?

It's anger and hopelessness that drives these killings by a wide margin rather than sick people.

It's time we knock it off.
It's time we defend the defenseless.

We need to stop stigmatizing those suffering with mental illness. I cringe when people blame "mental illness" for these horrific acts.

1. It is easier to blame the few who are also victims,

then to blame the corporate controlled conservative clowns in Congress who represent money.

2. It is hard to believe that a "sane" person could commit such mayhem

so (fallacy logic engages) the corollary must be true... the shooter must be "insane".

Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc.

The GOPNRA narrative must be served... It's NOT THE GUNS! so it must be that the shooter is "mentally ill" so therefore let us focus on removing mentally ill people from society... as if it was proven that all of the mass shooters were mentally ill.

However, after so many mass shootings, I suspect I am not saying anything here that most, if not all, of us already know.
