I know there may have been concerns that the ADA may be too vague or too costly, or may lead endlessly to litigation. Wonder if any enterprising reporters could ask these Republicans if the actions of their party haven't re-erected that "shameful wall of exclusion". Of course, be sure to show 41 wheelchair-bound as he is now.
ETA: Bob Dole has long been an advocate for disability rights. Maybe he could find it a good time to speak out.

He was a Democrat and someone I really admired as a person.

(613 posts)The torture, beyond it's flat rejection of a central American value, makes us LESS safe by helping terrorists recruit.
And he put a trillion dollar war on a credit card. All for a lie, so he and his cronies could have a more stable middle east and exploit middle east oil. And GWB got tens of thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians killed. For basically nothing. Because his Republican advisors were too dumb and shortsighted to see the obvious consequences of their war of choice.
