which would you choose? Feinstein sent me a gmail and I was asked to pick one out of 5 choices that I feel is the most important for her to focus on as my rep. The choices were...
Climate Change
DACA and immigration
Russia investigation
Economy
Health Care

(51,058 posts)But when we get back into power, the first priority should be to get rid of citizens united. If we do that, we can do all the other things on that list at our leisure.

(9,353 posts)It has been the genesis of too many disgusting machinations of the right wing!
It needs to have its pathetic little black heart ripped out and thrown on the funeral pyre of justice.

I'd have real trouble picking just one.

.focus is what will get Dems back in power.
The pocket book.
Once back in control they can address Climate, DACA and Health Care.

Health care
Climate change
Immigration
Economy
& Im someone who would often put economy near the top. But everything else is under attack, and cant defend itself well. Capitalism is at least trying at all times for the economy.

(10,071 posts)As long as Republicans are in the majority, the other problems can't/won't be addressed. Continuing to focus on Russia's upending of our elections is the only thing that I can see having much chance of changing that.

(51,643 posts)I responded to the gmail two days ago. I was curious what others on DUers are thinking. I had a tough time deciding but was only given one choice instead of "list them in order of preference" as I normally am asked by the DNC on their surveys.

(42,770 posts)we are losing SO much opportunity to debunk all the things being said every day by GOP with no unified response. Only to get ridiculously flamed....like I am trashing Dems, which is farthest from the truth. Everyone can bury their head in the sand - and act like everything is great - meanwhile - more and more people are actually thinking FBI corrupt and Trump showing no signs of decline. It's an utter "duh" how people can think we are doing a great job messaging.

(17,984 posts)These do not break down nicely into completely separate issues. People who hide laws to soften gun control in agriculture bills should know issues are intertwined. I should not blame DiFi herself, though. I blame the impression that the "average" voter is a single issue voter.

(5,164 posts)And get rid of the fascist traitors who have taken over the gov with the help of millions of bat shit voters. We need paper ballots and monitored elections. Ive already told them this many times. Until you do this you cant do anything else. Then healthcare, DACA and so on.
