(14,961 posts)Before that it was 5 on CNN. On the phone someone said 2-3 dead. This is all so devastating, I can't imagine what these parents are going through.

(51,593 posts)after she graduated from high school. HUH?!? I changed the channel before I heard the answer. As a former teacher who had to have "routine" active shooter drills with my 6 hear old kids then go back and read a story aloud with them I would hope that choosing teaching was NOT her answer. Being sick 50% of the time in a germ filled environment is bad enough, thank you. We don't get paid enough to put up with this on top of everything else.

(51,593 posts)I guess surviving to graduation will soon become a "right of passage". Sick, sick people combined with a sick, sick gun mentality. No wonder we put more money into military costs than social, health, education, home, food, etc.combined in this country's annual budget.
