We missed the Goldilocks Moment again (the time when it was ju-u-u-u-u-ust right to talk about that "well-regulated" meaninglessness that was stuck into the Second Amendment for no apparent reason).

Sandy Hook was 2012, but it's too soon. It will always be too soon because we don't want to upset the NRA.

was aware of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago in 1929. Or motivated by today being Valentine's Day.
Or just another individual who had no business being able to get his hands on guns and Wednesday was good
for his schedule.

again for the generous campaign bribes...er...donations? Did they ask if the Holy Guns are okay?

I'll bet the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 will make it easier to move guns across state lines, help sell more guns, and facilitate more "big events" like today!

They have sadly had ample opportunity to practice "thoughts and prayers" for just this situation. I am so over the NRA hijacking our country but I'm not hopeful anything will change until it's an "important" child who is the victim of a sick, twisted, fuck of a human being. Maybe a Koch grandchild, or the son or daughter of a US Senator. Maybe then it will be personal enough they will get off their collective asses and fix this shit. Thoughts and prayers my ass. I want laws.

It's something you say.

I just did a Google search, "President Obama, thoughts and prayers." Guess what?? He said it, too. Navy yard shooting, Umpquaa Community College shooting, Las Vegas shooting, Texas church shooting, etc.

There is soooooooo much to criticize in this current administration that we really don't need to get petty about it.

Apparently it was used at least as far back as Columbine.

It seems trite now, because these mass murders have become so common. It's a first reaction by many, when there really isn't much that is known, or much that can be said. JMHO.

Trump and the Republicans just toss it out and wash their hands of the situation.

There's nothing at all wrong with offering one's thoughts and prayers. But it can't just be an empty gesture. That's why people are criticizing those on the right.
