They have sadly had ample opportunity to practice "thoughts and prayers" for just this situation. I am so over the NRA hijacking our country but I'm not hopeful anything will change until it's an "important" child who is the victim of a sick, twisted, fuck of a human being. Apparently it was used at least as far back as Columbine.

It seems trite now, because these mass murders have become so common. It's a first reaction by many, when there really isn't much that is known, or much that can be said. JMHO.
