So very early on 6 Trump WH staffers failed background checks and were fired. One was even for allegations of spousal abuse.

Did they stop the internal process because they didn't like the results they were getting? Were they afraid of this mushrooming?






White House removes six staffers after failing FBI background checks: report

Several White House staffers were given the boot Thursday because they didn’t pass FBI background checks, according to a report.

Sources familiar with the matter told Politico that six employees were escorted from the White House by security because they failed to pass the SF86, a Questionnaire for National Security Positions used for security clearances.

After that, Labor Secretary nominee, fast food CEO Andrew Puzder, withdrew his name from consideration Wednesday after allegations of spousal abuse cost him Republican support.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
