1. First Valentine's Day without my husband

He died Nov. 10th 2017. Many DUers helped me pay for his cremation expenses. I'm truly grateful.
Cancer not only sucks the life out of you, but sucks out your bank account and IRA.

I'm doing OK though.

6. My father died last week.

He was my favorite human on this planet.😢

I am a daddy's girl. Mine died decades ago.

7. 10yrs ago on Valentine's Day I had to call the parmedics for my father

a couple days later he died ... Thank you for your loving thoughts.

11. Hubby passed in May.

Yesterday as I was shopping at an outdoor kiosk, a guy came up to me and handed me a long stemmed rose. He said, “In case you don’t have a Valentine.” Then he just disappeared.

I guess I still have that lost and lonely look.

Thanks, malaise, for recognizing our lost and lonely hearts.
