1. First Valentine's Day without my husband

He died Nov. 10th 2017. Many DUers helped me pay for his cremation expenses. I'm truly grateful.
Cancer not only sucks the life out of you, but sucks out your bank account and IRA.

I'm doing OK though.

Yesterday as I was shopping at an outdoor kiosk, a guy came up to me and handed me a long stemmed rose. He said, “In case you don’t have a Valentine.” Then he just disappeared.

I guess I still have that lost and lonely look.
