That proposal for Boxes of Crappy Processed Food doesn't include ANY funds for distributing the food

So the cost savings it suggests are completely fictional -- and this will be one more cost to burden states with.

A memo on the "Harvest Box" program says it will be up to states to figure out how to distribute the boxes through existing partnerships or "directly to residences through commercial and/or retail delivery sources." The budget proposal does not include any funding for distributing the boxes.

It's revolting and loathesome what is proposed for these.

The denouement to this should be for *****'s fat can be chastised, according to The Word that they ignore/conveniently pass over.

I am not in the best of moods.

Eligible folks had to go to a central location, stand in line, and get a box with bags of rice, beans, flour, etc.
If you had no ride, you begged one, or went without.

which was very good. Any one who was elderly was entitled to get the cheese. My grandfather would get the cheese which he couldn't eat so he would give it to us.

This is not the first time this bullshit was proposed. During the Reagan nightmare,a similar idea was floated were by the Churches would be given Surplus Commodities and other Food Stuffs would be distributed to the "poor" based on a Voucher type system.

This Bullshit from Trump is another idea of some Racist Bigoted GOP think group.
