Most of these physical abusers do their punching where it doesn't show. Hitting the face is something that would not be hidden by clothes. It makes me think the violence was escalating.

Under trump's justice system , where only the rule of trump law rules. He hates women, and everyone else except himself.

Sorry, but citing a victim's lack of 'due process' is a favorite tactic of law and order right-wingers in arguing against giving those accused of crimes due process, such as a right to an attorney, etc.

We shouldn't, and need not, go there in expressing our disgust at Trump's comments.

No one is suggesting Porter should not get a fair trial. Hell, we all know he will never be charged. Had he lived in a trailer park, he would already have gone to jail at least the night he put his fist through the door. The poster used an effective rhetorical device to highlight Porter and Trump's elite privilege. We need to do more of this, not less.

My ex wife had been beaten up buy her husband. My daughter had called the police, and the police were there and it was under control. I went out there, about a 30 minute drive, which took about 20 minutes, and there were a lot of police around. My ex-wifes face was a bloody mess, she was disheveled from the beatdown and X was sitting in the back of a patrol car in hand cuffs. It took a while for to heal and I doubt the mental part ever left for her. He was aressted and never allowed contact with her again and left town.
When you witness that situation and see the both the physical and mental damage it does, it stays with you a long time, that was probably30 odd years ago. I am sure that has affected both my son and daughter as they have gone on thru their lives. Domestic violence is not an excusable act at any level.
