Has someone at Justice been conspiring with Nunes? Is he now next in line?

As Rachel questioned, how did Carter Pages know in his Oct. 31 interview with Chris Hayes (link below, 7 minutes in) that questions about the procurement of his VISA warrant based on the "dodgy dossier" would be released by the House?

Is someone at Justice feeding Nunes material behind the scenes? Could that someone be affiliated with Noel John Francisco who is now second-in-charge after Rubenstein at DOJ so that if/when Trump fires Rubenstien, Franciso will have oversight of the Mueller investigation. He could circumscribe Mueller's investigative authority (keeping him form Trump's financial affairs, for instance) or outright fire Mueller. Or, as one DUer suggested, he could cut off the investigaton's oxygen (financing) and then, when the investigation dies, Trump can disavow his involvement in the matter.

This is getting very frightening. With every blow he grows stronger, and we become more weak.

Something's coming, and to paraphrase Omorosa, it's not going to be good.

Institute. The executive director of lumen Christi is Thomas Levergood. He believes in replacing primaries with a national civic forum. He is a deficit hawk and wants to defeat progressives.

Here is a slice of their beliefs from 2010 article;
Today we have an opportunity to turn to the genuine institutional solutions the progressives neglected: restoration of competitive elections, recruitment of talented citizens into meaningful political work, and vigorous prosecution of official malfeasance. We need to replace the primaries that have transformed voters into mere consumers with a system of local, state, and national "civic forum" organizations that will create a new cadre of citizen-statesmen. "Civic forum" organizations that would discuss and negotiate a consensus and then recuit citizen candidates to represent it could restore the virtues of the politics of public assembly praised by the Founders. A cohesive civic forum would provide legislative teamwork, accountability for collective decisions, a consensus political discourse, and activecitizen participation in politics. These forums would hold legislators accountable for their contribution to party teamwork and their legislative records.

Replacing primaries and weakened parties with healthy civic forums would enable the people to see who is truly responsible for government failure and vote them from office. This would motivate the legislative majority to work together effectively and would allow Americans to hold Congress responsible for enacting a coherent domestic policy agenda. While the alliance formed in the civic forum would still respond to the needs of specific groups, competitive team elections would lead legislators to moderate each group's demands and fit them together into a consensus agenda. The citizens of America need the vision to replace our current anti-constitutional, slip-shod political system with a citizen democracy that will allow them to build something for their grandchildren.

Man, I hope Team Mueller has played out all these possibilities and planned accordingly!

Well...here's to another sleepless night!
