If Mueller has the evidence in his hands at this moment, what should he do with it ??

He could turn it over to the Congress, but what good would that do?

He could hold on to it until after the next election, and if the Democrats were to win, the evidence might get a more fair hearing?

Or if the crimes are so serious that time cannot wait, he could indict immediately. He could request that Donald Trump either resign or be indicted? Trump would rather do neither. He would prefer to take it to the Supreme Court.

If Mueller has the evidence in his hands right now, what should be his next move?

No one believes the present Republican Congress would impeach Donald Trump. It is doubtful that a Democratic Congress would impeach him either. Under the excuse that "why waste our time - the Senate would not convict". As if they know ahead of time what the Senate might do??

in implying political considerations play no part. The fact is one party controls the congress, the Senate and the White house and are actively assisting in obstruction of justice for a President of their party that is under investigation. So yes political considerations should be taking into account.

No president has ever been indicted before.

However, if Mueller understands these crimes to be worse than anything in our history, he has an obligation to indict, in my opinion.

The lawyers and judges and Constitutional scholars can figure it out later. But justice delayed is justice denied.

i would think that all these options are going thru the head of the Special Counsel ??

As Eric Holder has said, it is not outside the realm of possibility for a sitting Pres to be indicted. I would bet Mueller is making this case! And that’s a question of first impression that would require a lock tight case.

Also, he has to file his referral before he’s fired!

He should confer with Rosenstein on what to do with the evidence he has gathered.

And he should do it right this minute. We are losing our country and Trump wants to fire both of them.

And that's the only reason why he still has his job. Trump knows that the minute Rosenstein goes, the indictment comes out. And I also think this investigation will take a long time, because I believe Mueller has uncovered a criminal syndicate that will shock even us, who already believe Trump is a criminal, when it is fully revealed to the world.

And Mueller is going to take his time and do it right, as he should. Bring down the whole house Mr. Mueller, not just a brick!

..as soon as possible.

I would like to see Mueller give him an ultimatum: Resign or be indicted. However, a resignation will not prevent an indictment in the future. There will be no breaks in a future indictment. We will push for the maximum penalty under law if you do not choose to resign immediately.
