Mark Shields (on PBS NewsHour): the White House is like East Berlin

No one wants to stay in, everyone wants to get out.

Also, Bill Clinton, with all his "foibles" inherited the biggest deficit after Reagan and Bush and ended up with the largest surplus.

And then we had 17 years of two wars and three tax cuts.

And the indecency of funds flowing from the middle class to the investors class.
