How he treated people of color.

How he treated anyone he thought less than him.

...about how he wanted to treat them, if Kelly had shown open hostility towards people of color and women, he wouldn't have achieved the rank of general.

So, Kelly found himself someone just as much of a racist and misogynist as he was to work for!

According to the New Yorker, Kelly left the D.H.S. with a "reputation as one of the most aggressive enforcers of immigration law in recent American history. His record belies the short length of his tenure. In six months, Kelly eliminated guidelines that governed federal immigration agents’ work; vastly expanded the categories of immigrants being targeted for deportation; threatened to abandon the Obama-era program that grants legal status to undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children; and has even broached the idea of splitting up mothers and children at the border to “deter” people from coming to the U.S." The D.H.S. under Kelly "became one of the few branches of the federal government that has been both willing and able to execute Trump’s policy priorities." Unlike other agency heads, Kelly did not clash with Trump.

Kelly was against DACA, and it was he that expanded the categories of immigrants that ICE is now targeting for deportation! We can safely assume that Kelly and Miller are two peas in a pod, both are racists and have Trumps ear!!!

rose through the ranks, since a lot of those depend on getting beyond the ranking commander to go up the chain.

He didn't need to openly attack people to have a detrimental effect on their lives.

I've met racist and sexist Generals and other officers over 20 odd years on various army posts.

Sure, they're political animals and mindful of their words and behavior - around the public.

He was in command of the units that rescued Jessica Lynch. Would be interesting to find out how involved he was in that fiasco.

Would also be interesting to see the record of the number of people discharged for bringing rape allegations under his command.

“Marijuana is a dangerous, addictive, gateway drug” crowd. Just one of many in this administration. Prior to November 2016 things were going so well, too. It’s “Back to the Future” with the ghost of Nancy Reagan barking “just say NO!!”
