5. We know that the man is a complete idiot, but this was meant to rile up his cretins.

He has no understanding of the actual laws of this country. He also sees himself as "the State" like an authoritarian would so any insult to him is an insult to the State. Finally, he is speaking to supporters so he is throwing out reckless and dangerous red meat to keep them riled up and on the look out for "the enemy".

When Republicans did the same to President Obama, I certainly thought it was childish and showed a lack of decorum, but I can understand not applauding something you do not agree with. One would figure that turnabout is fair play. That only works with people who have a sense of balance to their character. No such thing with Trump and the Republicans. Their perspective is THE perspective in their minds, and they think this with no irony.

9. tr-dump attempt to normalize the words treason and traitor....

..... so then when the Mueller case is buttoned up tr-dump's meat-head Nazi minions will be conditioned to believe that
team tr-dump's conspiracy to meddle in the election with Russian help is not illegal, is not treasonous, and he did not encouraged any one involved in his election to be a traitor to America's best interests. If tr-dump can plant the seed of common mis-usage now and habitually mis-state the term treason and/or traitor - down the road when the finger of blame is pointed at team tr-dump he can just pass it off as mis-stating and mis-usage of the term as has been done many times before.

Expect tr-dump to label not standing for the national anthem or crossing your heart and standing at full attention for the Pledge of Allegiance to deem those folks traitors - who should be shot.
