At 1:30 PM here in California, Im seeing the Dow 1489 points down for a total drop of 6.22%
I alone cant fix it, but together we can. That would be a great slogan for our next Democrat president.

(5,210 posts)First, a disclaimer: I don't have a CLUE what I'm talking about. However, I sometimes have a knack for identifying interesting and salient points.
* Ali Velshi this afternoon commented late this afternoon (between 3 and 4 pm) that usually with these kinds of things, you see the proceeds of the sales get poured into money, but he didn't see any of that happening.
* If I did any trading at all, I'd definitely be doing it on the basis of technical analysis of charts like these.

The market doesnt have gains like the last year without a drop.
Once its done, it may climb again or the bears might come out, hard to predict.
