At 1:30 PM here in California, I’m seeing the Dow 1489 points down for a total drop of 6.22%
I alone can’t fix it, but together we can. That would be a great slogan for our next Democrat president.

First, a disclaimer: I don't have a CLUE what I'm talking about. However, I sometimes have a knack for identifying interesting and salient points.

* Ali Velshi this afternoon commented late this afternoon (between 3 and 4 pm) that usually with these kinds of things, you see the proceeds of the sales get poured into money, but he didn't see any of that happening.

* If I did any trading at all, I'd definitely be doing it on the basis of technical analysis of charts like these.

It was a matter of time for a correction, maybe 10% or so.

The market doesn’t have gains like the last year without a drop.

Once it’s done, it may climb again or the bears might come out, hard to predict.

I'm sure trump will blame Obama for the low interest rates that are now rising.

I don't know how much it has to do with the drop but today was the first trading day after the new guy took over for Janet Yellen on Saturday. Trump appointee so ????????????
