Still, Trump stirred the issue anew last week during his State of the Union address. As the season was getting underway, he said any player who protests is a “son of a bitch” who should be removed from the field, and criticized NFL owners for failing to take action.

Not one player at the opening of the Super Bowl offered a protest to this presidents words during the National Anthem. Not one took a knee in protest to the killing of their sisters and brothers. Not one defended their mother or any woman. Not one. That president insulted every mother by calling her a "bitch" (his word, not mine). He referred to all mothers, every woman as a bitch and the players let that stand. I am ashamed of my said team 'The Patriots'.

Think about that...think hard. These words, passed along on his twitless feed, these are the words he has spoken on twitter and elsewhere. All citizens of the United States of America and our 'Patriots' just gave him a pass. They enabled his words and his actions by their silence.

Millions and millions of women have been taking to the streets not once but twice now in protest to this man. Sadly the two teams at the super bowl refused to stand for their mothers or the women in their lives.


Shame.
