they had actually done something and were going down. We would know if they fired the special prosecutor it would not help. All hell would break lose and they would go down maybe even harder. Lets face it, Mueller is closing in on Trump and there is really very little he can do about it and he knows it. He is freaking out grasping at straws. We know Trump is capable of anything which makes it a bit freaky but I think everyone in the FBI knows it's just a matter of time. All this evidence is there and trying to destroy it is probably impossible at this point and messing around that way would most certainly land people in jail. Sooner or later Trump is caught.
