It appears that relations between Donald J. Trump and Melania, his wife are pretty darned chilly. From her facial expressions and Trump's behavior around her, it appears that their marriage is not going well, to say the least. So here's a poll about one simple intimate event in a relationship and the time since it last occurred.

There is a generation of kids growing up in the age of trump. Think of the language degrading from him as a role model . She is terrible for impressionable young girls like he is for the young boys growing up in the trump age Young moms naming their child Melania etc .
Some sector looks up to the presidency no matter who occupies
Of Course racists said that about Michelle Obama but I thought she was perfect for her time in office
Not only a lawyer and writer Harvard law school but traditional role with her kids healthy projects and garden
Laura Bush a teacher and librarian led many issues on illiteracy and encouraging kids to continue reading.
Strutting pouting squinting what does that tell this generation of young girls ?
Birther, faked a college degree so caught lying and caught stealing Mrs. Obamas speech .
Has bullshitted about initiatives she will get to later but not much accomplished on anything , that's a very bad role model imo. Because goldigging and being lazy or just not being into an aspired position like that is not what young women need to associate with what kind of people are held high by our society .
The Trumps will have an influence on what constitutes our future culture whether people like it or not.

(146,329 posts)This thread is about Donald Trump and how he treats people. How he treats his wife is indicative of who the man is. The thread is not about Melania Trump being naked. The one poster who thought so had his reply deleted, and rightly so.

I alerted on that poster because we are better than that.
MineralMan
(146,329 posts)has agency over her relationship with Donald Trump, at least on one level. My question assumes that she has denied Trump intimacy. Now, of course, I don't know if that's true, but I strongly suspect so, based on her public reactions to him. I'm not sure who is exploiting whom in that relationship, which is probably far more complex than any of us realizes. But my question assumes agency on her part in this matter.
As for the poster with the images, thank you for your action. I would have done so myself, but I have a rule for myself that prohibits me from alerting on any direct reply to a post of mine. I knew that someone would alert on that post and that it would be hidden. What others post is not my responsibility. I am responsible for only my own posts.
We are not better than anything. Only individuals are responsible for what they do. There is no we here, but only a group of individuals, each with his or her own standards.
You appear to have misunderstood my intent. That's too bad. I blame myself for that. I should have made my intent clearer and simpler so it could not be misunderstood, regardless of the reasoning abilities of the reader. I sometimes overestimate people's abilities to ascertain intent.

(24,605 posts)isn't about Melania being naked? And further you are going to make snide remarks about peoples' abilities to ascertain intent when in your own words..."my poll assumes...My question assumes...I don't know if that it is true...I strongly suspect...I'm not sure..." Why not just be honest and say "I have no idea what I'm talking about; I'm just acting like a prepubescent sharing my prurient imaginings?" Remember this OP the next time you start one of your pontificating posts about how much you respect women. This is not an example of how you show that.

(1,057 posts)It is not. Your post makes it all about Melania and I find that offensive. I do not like the woman, yet leave her out of this. Expressing concerns or a question about Melania's naked state with her husband has no place on DU or GD.
I think she should leave, but as a man you have no clue how difficult that can be for a woman when he has the power to abuse both verbally and psychically and to destroy both her and her child. He is a very powerful man. This seems to be a little gottcha Op from you at the expense of the woman. I find that very sad. Seems out of character for you as you make many posts telling DUers when you feel they are politically incorrect.

Sometimes you need comic relief to break the tension. Is it juvenile? Yep. But many of us are on the ragged edge and need something to make us laugh and de-stress. Even crude, tasteless jokes and silly polls like this one.
I doubt that tRump will see this thread, nor will Melania. And if they do, so what? You reap what you sow, so there is that.

(146,329 posts)That he was elected in the first place reflects poorly on that part of America. It is truly unfortunate that some made his election possible by refusing to make a better choice. We will pay for that dearly, for however long it takes to replace Trump and Congress with a Democratic, progressive majority.
How long? Not long, I fervently hope. (Apologies to MLK, Jr. who used that question and answer in a speech I was fortunate enough to hear firsthand.)

(146,329 posts)regardless of what happens. His presidency will end at some point. His life, from that time on, will not be particularly pleasant, again regardless of what happens.
His old age, should he have such a thing, will be a bitter time of recollection and misery, I'm sure. All well deserved.
I hope for an end to his presidency, sooner rather than later. He can end it at any point, though a simple resignation. He could also see it end in an impeachment, or by failure to be re-elected, if he lasts that long. I'm hopeful that he will no longer have a cooperative Congress beginning in January of 2019. That seems to me to be the most likely thing.
His presidency will not end well for him, and he will have earned his bitter ending.

MineralMan
(146,329 posts)The question was about why the man's wife has probably let him nowhere near her, and for how long. The reason is simple. Trump is an awful person. That is reflected in his unfitness for office. If even his wife rejects him, clearly he is unfit for leadership of any kind.
So, yes, my question was about the idiotic antics of Donald Trump, or more accurately, his lack of concern for anyone but himself. That is not a good attribute for someone who is President of the United States.
Like some others, you have misunderstood me. I blame myself for that. I must not have made my original post simple enough or clear enough for everyone to understand. For that, I apologize.

(12,592 posts)in her GQ photoshoot. My favorite is the Bond girl image of her getting off the airplane in her white lingerie, pointing a gun at an unseen opponent.
On the official White House website, her modelling career is listed first, above her charitable contributions, which tells you what's most important to her:
Melania Knavs began her modeling career at the age of sixteen. She would pursue a degree at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, but paused her studies to advance her modeling career in Milan and Paris before moving to New York in 1996. As a model, Melania has appeared in high profile ad campaigns and worked with some of the top photographers in the fashion industry, including Patrick Demarchelier, Helmut Newton, Arthur Elgort, Ellen Von Unwerth, Peter Arnell, Antoine Verglas and Mario Testino. She has graced the covers of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, British GQ, Ocean Drive, Avenue, In Style, and New York Magazine. Her major layouts include the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Allure, Vogue, Self, Glamour, Vanity Fair, and Elle. In addition, Melania has appeared in numerous television commercials and television programs, including co-hosting The View with Barbara Walters.
On the other hand, here's what the WH website said about Michelle Obama:
Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama is a lawyer, writer, and the wife of the 44th President, Barack Obama. She was the first African-American First Lady of the United States. Through her four main initiatives, she has become a role model for women and an advocate for healthy families, service members and their families, higher education, and international adolescent girls education.
When people ask Michelle Obama to describe herself, she doesnt hesitate to say that first and foremost, she is Malia and Sashas mom.
----------------------
Rather than ask when Donnie Two Scoops last saw Melania naked, the more relevant question is when did she last see him nude. Eww, how will I ever unsee that! My guess is that it was when she conceived Barron, which is IMOH an act of a woman who wanted to cement her place as trophy wife. My thought is that any pre-nup she was required to sign didn't include any limits on how much she could seek in child support. It's taught in Gold Digger 101.
