In the eyes of the FISA Court, I don't think it matters where they got it. "Political motivations" or "bias" does not cause them to throw out information. They are looking for factual evidence.
However, I seem to recall when I read the Glenn Simpson testimony before the House Committee that he met the FBI in Rome to discuss his findings during his research on Donald Trump? Does it really matter where the FISA Court got their information?

(2,050 posts)McCain was told about it with some type of synopsis then sent one of his aides to Europe to retrieve it, read it and handed it to the FBI.

We have a witness protection program designed to let criminals off the hook if they roll on their bosses.
The source matters little, if at all, if it is verifiable as true. The idea that FISC would issue a warrant on a single source evidence is ludicrous. Let alone repeat it 3-4 times.
