It. Won't. Happen.

Even IF both houses of Congress turn blue, and IF all Dems hang together (not guaranteed,) and IF Trump were to be removed, you would have Mike Pence as President. Trump and Pence will not be simultaneously impeached and removed from office. Won't happen. You can put $$$ on it. And Pence will have the Constitutional power to select a new Veep. Won't be Nancy.

A Dem Senate could refuse to confirm any nominee Pence puts forward, and look like completely partisan hacks. Think that would go over well with an electorate that will be less than one or two years away by that time???

Our Senators will not be so short sighted as to shoot themselves in the foot that way.
