Nunes to release more memos; tearing down the State Department is next.

Nunes Attacks Dems, Says His ‘Phase Two’ Will Probe State Department

... “We are in the middle of what I call phase two of our investigation,” Nunes continued, “which involves other departments, specifically the State Department and some of the involvement they had in this.”

“That investigation is ongoing and we continue to work toward finding answers and asking the right questions to try to get to the bottom of what exactly the State Department was up to in terms of this Russian investigation.”

This has Trump's fingerprints all over it! He's tearing apart the whole US government, a systems of interdependent agencies that have been established and updated over centuries to make sure this country can maintain our position of power and authority around the world. But he's shielding Russia from any investigations and even removing the sanctions that was a modest penalty for their cyber attacks on the US election system that ushered Trump into the WH.

Trump is undermining the DOJ and trashing the FBI, and now he's going back to finish off what's left of the State Department after Tillerson left it virtually vacant and House Republicans have gutted its funding. Russia must be slapping their proverbial forehead, shocked at Trump's stupidity, and astounded at their good fortune.

Washington sent his first cabinet nomination to the Senate on September 11, 1789. By 1793 he had added four cabinet offices to the government, State, Treasury, a War department, and an Attorney General. So yeah, our government has had agencies in continuous operation for centuries.
