Paul Ryan is a traitor. We should call on him to resign.

Paul Ryan has worked to keep Trump's financial information secret. Why?

And fifth, Trump, Ryan, and McCarthy are all cooperating to hide Trump’s financial information. House Democrats have introduced bills to require the president to disclose his tax returns, which could reveal his financial relationship with Moscow. Ryan and McCarthy could approve those if they wanted to. Instead, they are supporting Trump by quashing them. Whether and to what extent Trump has gotten income from Putin cannot be known because Ryan and McCarthy want it not to be known.

“No leaks, all right?” Ryan says to his fellow Republicans in the recording. “This is how we know we’re a real family here … What’s said in the family stays in the family.”

Paul Ryan is perfectly aware of how Russia operates. And while the Republican party has traditionally taken a hard stance against Russia/USSR, Paul Ryan has helped soften their stance.

Ryan mentioned his meeting with Groysman, prompting Rodgers to ask: “How are things going in Ukraine?” according to the recording.

The situation was difficult, Ryan said. Groysman, he said, had told him that Russian-backed forces were firing 30 to 40 artillery shells into Ukrainian territory every day. And the prime minister described Russian tactics that include “financing our populists, financing people in our governments to undo our governments.”

Ryan said Russia’s goal was to “turn Ukraine against itself.” Groysman underlined Russia’s intentions, saying, “They’re just going to roll right through us and go to the Baltics and everyone else,” according to Ryan’s summary of the prime minister’s remarks in the recording.

“Yes,” Rodgers said in agreement, noting that the Russians were funding nongovernmental organizations across Europe as part of a wider “propaganda war.”

“Maniacal,” Ryan said. “And guess, guess who’s the only one taking a strong stand up against it? We are.”

Rodgers disagreed. “We’re not .?.?. we’re not .?.?. but, we’re not,” she said.

Paul Ryan tried to cover up Flynn's involvement in the Russia scandal, over the objections of members of his own party (e.g. Roy Blunt - Republican from MO).

Speaker Paul D. Ryan panned calls Tuesday for an independent investigation into Russia after the resignation of President Trump's national security advisor, Michael Flynn, saying the administration will explain what happened.

Ryan said it "was right to ask for his resignation" after disclosures that Flynn, a retired general, misled some in the administration about his conversations with the Russian ambassador. It remains unclear whether Trump asked for Flynn to step down.

Ryan dismissed the need for further investigation. Congress already is investigating Russia's intervention in the November election.

"I’ll leave it up to the administration to describe the circumstances," Ryan said. "I’m not going to prejudge any of the circumstances surrounding this until we have all of the information."

Because why wouldn't we trust the Trump administration to explain what happened?

Paul Ryan gave the green light to use materials hacked by Russians against Democrats. He ignored Democratic requests to fight fairly.

After Guccifer 2.0 targeted the chair of the DCCC, New Mexico's Ray Lujan, the Democrats sent a letter to his Republican counterpart on Aug. 29 arguing that "the NRCC's use of documents stolen by the Russians plays right into the hands of one of the United States' most dangerous adversaries," and if the National Republican Campaign Committee continued using the materials, the GOP "will be complicit in aiding the Russian government in its effort to influence American elections."

The Times reported that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi sent a similar note to Speaker Ryan. In both instances, the Republicans did not answer the letters.

Russia has dirt on Republican legislators, likely including Paul Ryan.

They based that conclusion, in part, on another finding — which they say was also reached with high confidence — that the Russians hacked the Republican National Committee’s computer systems in addition to their attacks on Democratic organizations, but did not release whatever information they gleaned from the Republican networks.

In the months before the election, it was largely documents from Democratic Party systems that were leaked to the public. Intelligence agencies have concluded that the Russians gave the Democrats’ documents to WikiLeaks.

Republicans have a different explanation for why no documents from their networks were ever released. Over the past several months, officials from the Republican committee have consistently said that their networks were not compromised, asserting that only the accounts of individual Republicans were attacked. On Friday, a senior committee official said he had no comment.

I think we have to conclude that Republicans who are enabling the Russian hijacking and destruction of our democratic institutions have been compromised. At the head of the Republican complicity is Paul Ryan. We need to begin a concerted effort to get rid of him. More than Nunes, perhaps even more than Trump, he is the link to continued Russian influence over our nation. He has failed his party and he has failed his country. We need to start a campaign against him.

It is ugly, partisan, paid for by American oligarchs, and wholly disrespectful and dismissive of anyone with a different point of view.
