I noticed it during the MSNBC interview and in a couple of other clips that are often shown.
Maybe thats helpful when you're a foreign agent.

The problem I see is his inability to answer simple questions in a straight forward manner.

Now maybe that was deliberate. Like, if I try really hard to act like I am totally innocent and can't imagine why anyone would think otherwise, maybe everyone will believe it. But anyone in that much trouble has got to have a ton of stress.
