What are the chances of Trent Gowdy

Retiring so tRump can put him in Rosensteins place?? Sorry if it's been asked before and I could not find anything on the subject..
Gowdy is a rethuglacan attack dog and would lay waste to the DOJ.. Is he qualified to run the department.. Not politically but credential wise...

Gowdy and Nunez are buddies and would push whatever tRump would want....... including treason... to get their needs met.. That's the only idea I can think the R party keeps the prez around... to pass their legislative needs.. I that goes by-by so does tRump...
They have till November to do their dastardly deeds..

2. Trey is scum but he's not a scumbag. He is not going to obstruct this investigation.

I'm pretty sure he has a good sense of what the outcome of this is going to be. Him stepping away is not to get more involved with trashbag...it's to put distance. He's read the underlying doc's...he knows NUNES and CO., are blatantly misleading and there is no way Gowdy is going to trash the FBI etc.

3. Can't answer your theoretical question,

but Trey Gowdy is a former federal prosecutor and was the South Carolina equivalent of a district attorney.

So he does have some relevant experience.

And is a total asshole, so he fits right in with the rest of the party.

4. Why would he have to retire before being offered any new job?

Wouldn’t most people keep their current job until they were actually offered a better one? I have heard the idea mentioned before about him resigning and possibly popping up later in an appointed role in IMPotus’ cabinet. Sure seems backwards to me, especially with a double crossing liar as the potential new boss 😬

I quit my job... honesty I did and this new job popped up automagically!! What a coincidence?

that will occur if and when the Mueller team gets the Deutsche Bank (the preferred bank of Russian oligarchs) documents that can be used to prove Russian oligarchs gave money to US super-PACS who then donated some of the money to the political campaigns of elected republicans.

It's illegal for a political campaign to accept donations from foreign entities. If Mueller gets the documents that he requested from Deutsche Bank (remember, the preferred bank of Russian oligarchs) last December, his team will be able to follow the money from Russian, thru the NRA and other conservative PACS to the campaign accounts of many, many elected republicans...

Does the effort by republicans to discredit Mueller and his team and the FBI seem to have ramped up since the first week of December?

10. I doubt it. This plan means that Gowdy would have to trust Trump.

Gowdy is a lot of things, but he's not THAT stupid.

He should know that Trump is likely to renege on any deal he makes.

So, get the job offer, in writing (and on air and in tweets) before quitting your day job.
