Jarrett hadn't tweeted for a month. His last tweets were slamming the Wolff book's report that Bannon had said Trump Jr meeting with Russians at Trump Tower was treasonous.
And now these tweets, this morning:

(14,167 posts)I don't know what will. The goal of every American patriot should be to get it off our airwaves. They represent a threat to our national security and the "reporters" pushing this propaganda should face consequences for their traitorous behavior.
I'm happy Rosenstein refuses to resign. I believe he is hoping that if he is fired, it will be the trigger to push people out of their seats and into the streets. Trump's strategy is to get rid of everyone surrounding (protecting) Mueller because he is too afraid to take on Mueller himself. Notice SCROTUS never directly impugns Mueller the way he does all of the other public servants he bullies.

(190 posts)One story: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/usanow/2014/05/22/fox-news-anchor-arrested/9427551/
Fox News Network anchor Gregg Jarrett, who was arrested in a bar at Minneapolis-St.Paul Airport, may have been under the influence of medication. Police found gabapentin pills in his pocket, according to the report. When officers searched Jarrett's bag it was revealed he was recently released from an alcohol and chemical dependency treatment facility.

(33,643 posts)AKA Neurontin, it's chemically-similar but a milder version of the drug Lyrica ... It takes the edge off the extreme nerve pain you feel.
Clonidine (not Klonopin, the addictive Benzo) is also often administered ... it's a High BP medication but has some mild sedative-like effects. Withdrawals cause BP to shoot up to a level that you actually 'feel it' ... so Clonidine helps there.
Muscle relaxers like Methacarbamol or Flexeril are also common 'helper' drugs.
If you're really lucky/the docs trust you/you aren't also a benzo addict ... you'll maybe be treated to some Ambien at night which is absolute godsend because you absolutely CANNOT SLEEP for like 4-5 straight days unless have something STRONG like Ambien to clobber you to sleep. So you're in absolute writhing agony for days on end ... with no break in the action ... no hope of sleep ... and after a while the sleeplessness becomes the very most annoying symptom.
I think it's unlikely that Jarrett was messed up enough on Gabapentin alone to get himself arrested. It's not a particularly psychoactive drug and doesn't produce drunk-like symptoms ... although I suppose if one were to OD oneself on it who knows. Or ... to mix it with a buncha booze ...

(7,412 posts)He is done. Sounds a little outlandish but could be possible.
It will probably be looked into by the special counsel that Sessions appoints after the OIG report is released. Rosenstein has to figure he's going to be under investigation at this point, don't give them easy leverage to turn you against the others.

(57 posts)I agree. Im skeptical of anyone vested with power due to 1.) human nature, and 2.) the corrupting nature of power.
I think we should be wary of EVERYONE with power for exactly those reasons.

(42,714 posts)In fact, the document demanding was in the other direction. Nunes wanted the FBI to turn over documents to the intelligence committee and was threatening the FBI with contempt of congress. An agreement regarding the documents was reached in early January.

And even though Greg Jarrett is a lawyer, he apparently doesn't know squat about 18 USC 242.

(49,004 posts)screamed bloody murder about it to any RW outlet that would listen. No way this would have been kept quiet for weeks.
No, this is a story that Nunes and allies made up, a backup plan if their overhyped memo doesn't provide Trump enough cover for firing Rosenstein.

(3,635 posts)to fire Rosenstein that he thought it would give him, the MSM has seen through the whole thing as a ploy to derail Mueller and suppress the truth about a stolen election.
If Trump fires Rosenstein all hell will break loose, he would be signing his own impeachment papers...

(39 posts)The release of FBI text messages to the media was an unprecedented break of an Inspector General rule regarding evidence in an ongoing investigation.
DOJ has released the texts only to the House IC. Any texts that have been published by the media that were not part of the original release has probably been leaked by a member of the committee.

Which is good news so far.
Of course Trump could change that with a tweet or retweet, but so far he hasn't, despite Moron Jr tweeting about it.
