1. Nunes has a Russian investment buddy connected to a winery.

Nunes was likely slipped a handsome sum of money in a Russia-aided dark windfall profit and is now on the "kompromat" list. Nunes has no principles, no loyalties to his country. He's a Trumpy man BECAUSE he believes that Trumpy is his ticket to riches. Nothing else matters. So he'll do anything to keep the cash flow coming. But Nunes, like Trumpy, is doing a mad dash to keep a half step ahead of law enforcement, while leaving a trail of incriminating evidence with every step. Nunes will be an inmate in a federal pen.

The second being that the GOP is so incredibly stupid they couldn't fight their way out of a paper sack. Everyone knows Nunes is a moran, so the fact that the GOP bet all their chips on him demonstrates that none of them are the masterminds they think they are.
