Nothing against sports fans but he knows people will be watching the game and even if it were to flash across the screen ..."dotard" fires rosenstein" viewers will not want to be bothered. Thoughts... anyone?

(19,565 posts)He has zero basis to fire him. The memo is being ripped to shreds by both the right and the left. I really was the dud it's being reported to be.

(19,565 posts)It was extremely hollow. Think of it as a much-desired cream filled doughnut devoid of any filling.
The moderate RW is even saying it's devoid of truth. The only ones who seem to be accepting it are the extremist and they aren't enough to sway any decision like this. It would be political suicide for the GOP in November if they let Trump use this as a basis to fire Rosenstein, and the rank and file know that.

(1,570 posts)Now too much time has passed and the memo has been shown to be a dud. On top of that it still has to get through all of Saturday and the Sunday morning shows. By Sunday night even Fox will have changed the subject.

(118,295 posts)It is one thing to ready ourselves to respond flexibly in suddenly changing circumstances but another thing entirely to prepare ourselves too much only for the worst outcomes, lest we become too disheartened to act, or lest we find nothing shocks us much because our expectations have become too low
It is better to hope for the best while making some plans for the worst, so we retain both proportion in our thought and preparedness
