What do you know about this district? Are you speaking from your personal beliefs or from actual knowledge of this voting district? If it's the former and not the latter, I honestly don't care what you have to say on the matter. All that matters here is what works in this one specific district to these specific voters.

I've learned over the years internet political warriors have no clue what local races look like. They mostly want to gauge things by their own personal feelings. Which are completely irrelevant to the political reality on the ground.

First, this is NOT a TV ad; it's doesn't have the "I approve this message" disclaimer. Which means its not targeted at his voters; it's targeted at you: political activists and bloggers.

Which is good, because campaigning based on the Nunes memo would be a losing strategy. The average voter isn't watching cable news, isn't reading blog posts, and will never read the memo or care much about the underlying allegations. They care about economics, health care, their kids education, etc. and look upon a squabble like this as a sign that Washington politicians don't focus on "real" issues.

This video is intended to get you riled up enough to contribute to his campaign. If you want to, knock yourself out, but consider that this is a play on your emotions ("we all hate Devin Nunes&quot rather than your logic. Nunes is in a safe (even in a wave election) R+8 district. And a dollar you give to Janz is a dollar not going to one of the growing list of competitive races we have a chance of winning.
