I wouldn't be surprised to see 12%, but you're correct 10% is a normal correction.

All the indicators were there for some time that a correction was going to take place. It actually should have taken place before now but people were still jumping in while it looked inviting. I kept waiting for that to bite him in his big butt, and it looks like it might do that now.

because I was convinced that the market was ready to drop. I am not making much on it right now but I feel better that it is safe. I figure I will wait a bit before I invest it. Maybe I a crazy but my gut tells me I am right.

Time in the market beats timing the market. I've been waiting for a correction for almost a year. who knows if this is a full on correction, a bump in the road or the beginning of a massive drop like 2008. Point is, trying to time the market w/ when to buy and when to sell hardly ever works out for the best.
