(33,643 posts)I would like to know, however, if he was the one who initially received the intel from the Aussie guy who overheard the Coffee Boy and then instigated the beginning of the first FBI investigation into collusion because if he was, it's not a good look given everyone knows he didn't like Trump. I'm really hoping that at minimum someone much higher in the food-chain had to review and sign off, but even if he was just the one that took the info and went to superiors and said 'we need to start an investigation' then that undermines the case we are making that says 'the investigation started before the dossier'.
The LESS Strzok had to do with the decision to begin earlier investigations, the better.
I'm keen to learn more about the 'Joint Task Force' that supposedly started well before the dossier was brought to FBI that reportedly arose from credible claims from a Baltic State intelligence agency source that suggested (IIRC) that Kremlin-linked funds were pouring into the Trump campaign coffers.
